Christina Garnett MSW, MPH, LCSW
Christina is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis where she received her Master's in Social Work and Public Health. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who enjoys working with children, youth, young adults and families. Christina has provided psychotherapy services in school- based, office- based and residential settings.
Her experience inlcudes the following populations/needs:
Adjusting to change and transitions, Anxiety, Crisis Intervention and Behavior Management, Depression, Grief and Loss, Physical and Sexual Abuse and other traumas.
Christina is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and continues to further her education in Child, Adolescent, and Family related therapeutic treatment modalities.
Christina believes in the strength and resilience of every client that she works with. She operates from a strengths- based perspective which means, goals and sessions are centered around building on client strengths!
She is committed to empowering her clients to overcome various life challenges that have adversely affected them. Christina aspires to use MHS as a platform to educate about mental wellness and to highlight the importance & benefits of prioritizing mental health on the individual, interpersonal & communal levels.
